Excellent Condition

Irish Dancing Solo Dress

To fit age 14-16 approximately (but please see measurements)

Stunning modern 3-piece costume in Royal Purple Raw Silk and White Satin overlaid with sequinned tulle. Multi-pannelled skirt is on a light cotton bodice (the cotton has been slit down the centre to allow for movement as the dancer had grown; this could be edged with biding or a new bodice could be made quite easily). Applique is in lilac holographic jersey with purple and lilac celtic knot embroidery. Soft cape in the same lilac jersey. White tutu edged in matching tulle on separate lycra waistband. Lined with purple and white gingham fabric. Includes two headdresses and matching bloomers.

In excellent overall condition, very well looked after. The dress has not been altered at all. There are a few small marks on the dress that would benefit from spot-cleaning. However, these only show when up close and the dress looks fantastic on stage! The velcro that originally held the bodice firm to the skirt has come away; this was the sticky kind so is easily replaced. As previously mentioned, the under-bodice could do with some attention. This would also benefit from a bit of a clean but the dress is totally wearable as it is. Worn by an open championship dancer.

A really lovely costume. Ideal for an intermediate to open dancer!
