SOLO DRESS

To fit age 8-10 approximately

Beautiful Metallic Red Silk inset with Red Holographic Square Sequin panels to the bodice and sleeves. The applique is in a modern celtic knot design with shimmering red square sequin, white silk and neon yellow and green fabrics complemented by matching embroidery. Shaped kick-pleats, neckline and hems to both skirt and sleeves. Shaped cape and fluorescent yellow satin lining. Includes matching headpiece, crop-top and bloomers.

In great condition, hardly marked and barely worn! As is usual with this type of fabric there is curling to some of the square sequins, with a few missing under one arm and at the back of the neck (not where it is likely to be seen!) There are some kick marks on the skirt lining but this could easily be cleaned off. On close inspection it appears that the dress may have been let down at some point, although it has obviously been done expertly as the only indication is two rows of tiny "pin pricks" left by the previous stitching. This does mean the dress cannot be let down any further (it could of course be taken up again!) but there is plenty of let-out room to the bodice, both in the side seems and the zip area. This dress looks fabulous on stage! Unfortunately I did not get a picture of the last little girl who wore it and it is now too small, but it really is stunning when worn!
